What is your social issue? Should there be internet censorship in the US.
Why is it such a social issue? What do people disagree about in relation to this topic? Such is a social issue because of the fact that it a violation of the 1st amendment right of US citizens. Many disagree about how censorship may make the internet safer for younger generations to browse the internet.
What is your proposed solution? Why do you think this is the best solution? My proposed solution is to allow harder internet censorships on children’s versions of internet apps, that parents may download for their kids. I believe that such is the best solution because it allows children to browse the internet safely because of the kids version censorships put in place, while allowing teens and adults to browse uncensored version of those apps, keeping their freedoms online.
What are pros to your solution? Pros to the solution are that it allows for adults to use the internet with completely uncensored accesses throughout. Meanwhile, children can still browse the internet, but on a censored and, therefore, safer version of the internet.
What are cons to your solution? Cons to such a solution would be that computer access, which doesn’t use a dedicated app, wouldn’t be censored like the kids version of an app. Another con would be that such a solution adds an extra step to the censoring campaign, making it a bit more over-complicated than other solutions. One other con would be that tech savvy children would be able to download the uncensored app in thee parents don’t have the account for the device set up with parents’ permission required.

I like your solution because it shows how it can help kids to be in a censored environment but young kids are mostly in their parents’ phone so they are not on a safe internet browser.
